TV presenter and comedian The Estate Of Paul O'Grady has been announced as Orangutan Appeal UK's patron, after becoming involved with the charity during a visit to the Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre in Borneo, with founder Sue Sheward MBE.

O'Grady commented on the appointment 'I am delighted to be a patron of Orangutan Appeal UK to help raise awareness of the plight of this beautiful endangered ape and promote the work the charity are doing to conserve them'.
